Napa and Sonoma Counties make up the top tier of quality vineyards and wine in California.  There is no other region that provides the quality of product and quality of lifestyle together with a near perfect climate, spectacular scenery, access to a world-class city, and close proximity to the ocean and mountains for winter sports.  Napa and Sonoma Counties make up a large part of the North Coast grape growing region that also includes Mendocino and Lake Counties to the north.  This region produces some of the finest wines in the world on par with Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhone regions of France.  There is a literal universe of micro-climates / Appellations among the valleys and mountains running through the North Coast.  Even though the Mayacamas Mountain Range divides Napa and Sonoma Counties I believe the two areas are complimentary and provide some of the most diverse and quality oriented wine production in the world.  They also provide us with the opportunity to explore, learn and enjoy all the bounty that is unique to each area.  Welcome to wine country!

This is one of the most intriguing and unique winery properties in all of wine country. Much like the naked skeleton of cordons throughout a winter vineyard that has surged into spring with lush foliage, new life, and measured vigor producing a feast for your senses. This property has transcended the law of unintended consequences by morphing from a slaughterhouse into one of the most interesting winery / gallery / premium vineyard properties in wine country. Bring your imagination and be prepared for a surreal experience.

Dry Creek Valley Vineyards
Dry Creek Valley is just outside of the town of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. Dry Creek is full of vineyards, wineries, great scenery and is especially known for producing excellent Zinfandel. Aside from some of the popular zinfandel producers of the Dry Creek area other varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon flourish as well. This is a short clip of a property I sold recently and gives you a good feel of the Dry Creek Valley. Take a quick tour!
