Napa County Towns
The Napa Valley is home to some of the most beautiful and elite small towns in California, a kind of Norman Rockwell meets extremely well heeled country / artistic fusion. The string of towns which run north and south are set between the Mayacamas Mountains on the west and the Vaca Mountains on the east. The climate and feel of the valley changes dramatically as you move from one region to another. The cool climate of southern end of the valley starts with the city of Napa (the big city) and gradually gets warmer as you head north towards the gastronomic paradise of Yountville, moving farther north passing through the famous Cabernet Sauvignon / Bordeaux Style vineyards & wineries of Oakville and Rutherford will drop you into the quaint and sophisticated town of St. Helena where you will find numerous gourmet restaurants, chic boutique shops, art galleries and of course world class vineyards and wineries. At the very northern part of the valley you will find the “rustic” town of Calistoga where it is a little warmer and laid back in the shadow of Mt. St. Helena. There is a lot to cover in this chosen valley and I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you. Click on the various links to learn
