If you love incredible food, go no further, Yountivlle is nirvana. You could literally throw a stone in any direction and hit one of the best dining experiences of your life. With restaurants such as The French Laundry, Bouchon, Bistro Jeanty, Bottega and others it is no surprise Yountville is a must visit for any foodie. The Younttville area is also responsible for producing excellent wines. The town derived its name from George Yount who is said to have established the first vineyard in the Napa Valley.
Yountville has a population of almost 3,000 residents and is home to the Veterans Home of California. Yountville is flanked by the Mayacamas Mountains to the west and the Vaca Mountains to the east. Some of the larger employers for the area are the Veterans Home of California, Domaine Chandon and Newton Vineyard.
